Humble Beginnings
WhatSub was founded in 2023 in Deerfield Beach by Antonio Spadaro, a native of Rome, Italy, with a simple vision: to bring the sandwiches he grew up eating in the famous shops of Florence and Rome to South Florida- but with an Italian-American twist.
As a third-generation restaurateur, most of Antonio's life has revolved around producing the highest quality product in the kitchen and delivering the best customer service possible.
